Hadith

On the authority of Shaddad ibn Aws, may Allah be pleased with him,
the Prophet, Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Aalihi Wa Sallam said,


"The most superior way of asking for forgiveness from Allah is:

"Allahumma anta Rabbi la ilaha illa,
anta khalaqtani wa ana abduka,
wa ana 'ala ahdika wa wa'dika mastata'tu,
A'udhu bika min Sharri ma sana'tu,
abu'u Laka bini'matika 'alaiya,
wa Abu'u bidhanbi faghfirli
innahu la yaghfiru adhdhunuba illa anta."

The Prophet (Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Aalihi Wa Sallam) added.

"If somebody recites it during the day with firm faith in it, and dies on the same day before the evening, he will be from the people of Paradise;

and if somebody recites it at night with firm faith in it,
and dies before the morning, he will be from the people of Paradise."

Solat sunat Rawatib (rawatib dari kata 'raatib' yang bermaksud berterusan), yakni solat sunnat yg dilakukan scara berterusan beriringan dgn solat wajib. Jumlah yang mu'akkad (diberati) ialah 10 (10R)atau 12 raka'at (12R), dalilnya: Dalil 10R: Dari Ibn Umar ra " aku hafal 10R dari RasuluLlah SAW, 2R sebelum Zuhr, 2R sesudahnya, 2R sesudah maghrib (di rumah), 2R seusai Isyaa' (juga di rumah) dan 2R sebelum solat Subuh. [HR Bukhari-Muslim, Bukhari 1118, Muslim 729] Dalil 12R Dari Aisyah ra, " barangsiapa yg secara konsisten melaksanakan 12R solat sunnat, akan dibangunkan rumah di Syurga: 4R sebelum Zuhur, 2R sesudahnya; 2R sesudah maghrib, 2R sesudah solat Isyaa' dan 2R sebelum solat Subuh." [HR atTermidzi dan Ibn Majah, dinilai sahih oleh al-Albani, sahih atTermidzi, no 414.] hadith Ummu Habibah juga menetapkan 12R (HR atTermidzi, no 415, dinilai sahih al-Albani). Ulasan al-Muhahaddith Abdul Aziz ben Baz rh, cara menghimpunkan hadith Ibn Umar (10R) dan hadith Aisyah (12R), ialah bila lapang dan ada kekuatan, lakukan 12R. Jika kesibukan, lakukan 10R. Solat sunat rawatib yang lengkap dan sempurna ialah 12R. (ibn Baz, syarah Bulughul Maram, hadith no 374)
